The Day of the Dead is a celebration of love and respect for our departed loved ones. Every year, our XOA´ family opens its doors to share with you our passion for this most important cultural celebration in an intimate and unique setting.
Our experience begins at 9:00 a.m. We begin at our Day of the Dead altar, we explain the meaning of our ofrenda (offering). There is also space to place a photo or image of a deceased family member if you´d like to honor and remember them.
Next, you will enter our most intimate space, the kitchen, where the magic of the celebration truly comes to life. You'll learn how to make Oaxacan Chocolate using pre-Hispanic methods and immerse yourself in the Day of the Dead as our ancestors taught us to honor this beautiful tradition.
The experience wraps up with a shared tasting at the table, celebrating life and remembering those who have passed with love, joy and affection.
